Westward Ho! — 5:20pm
Westward Ho! are an indie/rock/folk collective with a fondness for falsetto and sweet harmonies. The live experience differs from week to week due to the collective mentality so whether it be flute, fiddle, bodhran or drums, you are guaranteed a good time at a Westward Ho! gig. The band were formed in 2016. Starting out playing songs by Fleet Foxes and Sufjan Stevens, Ben soon found his feet as a songwriter and after the addition of guitarist, singer and writer Jay Hollis, Westward Ho! truly became the band they are today. Andrew Sims, Chris Jackson, Gareth Rhys and Cate Cooper complete the line-up but it’s not unusual to see other friends and family rock up on stage! |
SunDowN — 6:10pm
SunDowN is a Stevenage duo performing rock/pop covers and originals. Consists of Annie & Simon. They were formerly in a local band called ‘Taken’; both been performing for years. Annie is no stranger to Knebworth having worked at one of the high street pharmacies for 11 years. Simon also appears in a local band playing around Herts. |
Kelvin Davies & Gary Jones — 7:00pm
Kelvin Davies already has an amazing portfolio of work behind him including several plays on the BBC Radio 2 Cerys Matthews Blues Show. The great guitar work and singing of this young country blues artist brings songs of the 20's and 30's to life, as well as an increasing selection of wonderful self penned numbers. Kelvin draws his inspiration deep from the past, from blues pioneers such as Mississippi John Hurt, Charley Patton, Blind Blake and more, as well as being inspired from later folk musicians, the likes of John Martyn, Jackson C Frank and Bob Dylan. Since the start of his acoustic blues musical quest in late 2017, Kelvin has played at some fantastic venues, such as the 100 club, Cambridge Junction, The Bedford, as well as various folk and blues clubs and festivals throughout the UK. During these times he has put on incredible shows alongside the likes of Catfish Keith, and Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, to name a few. Rarely far from his side is veteran harmonica player Gary Jones, whose soulful, understated presence never fails to add an extra layer of sweetness to Kelvin’s overall wonderful, charismatic sound. |

Wasted Rhymes play an energy fuelled contemporary Alt rock / indie set of their own material, with some carefully chosen and re-worked covers in their own style. Having supported Big Country, The Blow Monkeys, China Crisis, Los pac featuring Paul Young, Wasted Rhymes continue to write, perform and play into 2022. |

Bloodline are a 4 piece North Herts based Alt rock band who perform both original music and classic rock covers eg. Tom Petty, Bad Co, Thin Lizzy. The band members are Ron Flesch on guitar and vocals, Nick Clube on Lead guitar and vocals, Dave Whitten on bass and Andy Browne on drums. |
Steve Young & Roxy Searle — 9:30pm
Songwriters Roxy Searle and Steve Young have joined forces to bring you their eclectic mix of country pop covers and catchy and memorable originals. Local pop legend Nik Kershaw describes Steve as “Herts very own Jack Johnson” whilst Roxy was once told by an impressed Kylie Minogue that “she would one day be asking for her autograph”. Between them they have graced some of the worlds most inspiring stages—The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Ronnie Scotts, BBC Radio, GBTV—as well as numerous local venues, including Old Town Live (Stevenage), Goatfest (Codicote), Balstock (Baldock) and Club 85 (Hitchin). |
